HRD Homes is seeking an outstanding candidate to grow with our team! HRD Homes provides a home building experience that is customer service, cutting-edge design, and quality-driven. We are looking to add an administrative assistant to our team.

This is a flexible position and allows the successful applicant to have input on the days and hours of work.
Reporting to the Controller and Ownership, you will be responsible for:
Role and Responsibilities:
Assisting the controller in administrative duties including:
- Printing and filing of invoices
- Data entry of invoices into Quickbooks
- Creating Purchase Orders (POs) and matching POs with invoices.
- Filing completed invoices and POs.
- printing cheques, setting-up new vendors, ensuring vendors have the appropriate insurances to be on our sites, training vendors to our cut-off/payment policies, etc.
- General administrative assistance and support.
- Payroll assistance
- Following up with clients, lawyers, banks, municipalities, developers, etc. to collect receivables.
- Additional tasks outside the list will be required as they arise within a small business environment.
Skills and Attributes for Applicant to Possess:
- Excellent computer skill
- Experience in QuickBooks an asset
- Positive attitude
- Experience in a unique home building environment or similar industry is considered an asset.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills combined with the ability to interact and gain the support of senior leadership and other decision-makers.
- Professional and act with integrity and diplomacy.
- Ability to work well with a team, negotiate, and resolve conflict in a professional manner.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful, and driven to succeed.
- Ability to take initiative, organize, be efficient, manage tasks, prioritize, plan/think ahead, meet deadlines and targets, and take responsibility.
- Computer literate and experience with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Remote Desktop, and Quickbooks Enterprises.
