Job Description:
As a Sales Advisor at Summit Tools, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge to our clients. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about the tooling industry and eager to learn about our extensive range of products. This role requires a curious mindset and a dedication to understanding the various verticals of tools we offer for sale.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring the customer takes priority and answers any questions they have.
- Self-motivated with the ability to cultivate strong relationships and consistently go the extra mile in providing exceptional customer service to our customers and supplier representatives.
- Maximize sales opportunities to achieve store targets.
- You have a curious mindset and passionate about becoming a product expert within the tool industry.
- Take part in the daily walks on the floor with his manager to assure all standards are followed (In stock, price and promotions are tagged properly and assure cleanliness for customers.)
- Knowledgeable of promotions, e-flyers and any special current pricing that will impact sales.
- You must have a collaborative mindset and be willing to work with head office and other retail stores.
- Ensuring adherence to operating and security procedures.
Skills & Expertise:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, in a related industry such as tools, hardware, or construction. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new information and technologies. Passion for providing exceptional customer service and a genuine interest in helping others. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant Experience:
- Must have minimum 3+ years in high-volume retail sales experience.
- Must have minimum 2+ years of tools sales experience
- Extensive tool knowledge in the Construction industry along with Power Tools and Hand Tools
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Bonus if you have a valid driver’s license.
Working Conditions:
- This is a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours/week, the 5-day work week includes 2 days off per week, Sunday (closed) and one day during the week.
- Must be willing to work Saturdays.
