Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Front End Associate to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in preparation, cashiering, and food handling within bakery or food industry settings. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their ordering process using a register (square)
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals
- Upsell items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter, front rooms, and food prep stations
- Maintaining daily tasks and cleaning checklists each day
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Assist with preparation tasks as needed, supporting baking staff when required
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such square is a plus
- Experience in cashiering, food handling, serving, or related roles is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and basic math skills for cash handling
- Kitchen experience or restaurant background will be beneficial for understanding workflow and customer needs
