We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Team. This role requires a proactive individual with strong work ethics. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional looking for stable, full-time employment with one of the biggest Building Maintenance Companies in Vancouver, since 1959.
Duties
- Perform preventative maintenance on commercial and residential properties.
- Complete general building maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.
- Respond to maintenance service requests in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of building maintenance and preventative maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of general building , repairs, and maintenance practices.
- Light Carpentry work such as Drywall repair, wall finishing and painting
- Plumbing knowledge: Repair pipe leaks, unclog drains , able to diagnose a problem.
- Electrical knowledge to replace cartridges, lights, light fixtures, able to diagnose a problem
- Preventative maintenance such as clean HVAC filters, service equipment to prevent breakdowns
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as required up to 50 lbs.
- Must participate in on-call rotation (one week every 2 months)
