Gray Tools Canada, a Hand Tool Manufacturer is currently looking for a CNC Machinist. As a CNC Machinist, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, utilizing your expertise in blueprint reading, machining, and mechanical knowledge to produce high-quality components. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, while applying your premium skills in CNC programming and read "G" code systems. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will ensure adherence to quality control standards. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for set up and operate CNC Lathe and CNC Mill, turning
- Set up and adjust production machinery/tools
- Perform daily and weekly checks as per maintenance procedures
- Multi-machine operation required
- Loading of pre-existing programs, change, load and unload fixtures, machine parts and manage/change tooling
- Programming editing, able to read "G" codes
- Recommend improvements to process
- Observe all Safety regulations, guidelines and instructions
- All other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience setting up and operating CNC preferred
- Preference given to CNC machining and or red seal certificate
- Ability to read and understand programs to a degree that will allow you to modify and or edit programs
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and prints
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
