Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently and accurately
- Assist in food handling and preparation to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, counters, and workstations
- Support food safety protocols by following proper sanitation and food handling procedures
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly while maintaining quality service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
- Handle guest inquiries or concerns professionally to promote positive experiences
Qualifications
- Prior food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Experience with food handling, preparation, or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
