Job Overview
We are seeking experienced and reliable Warehouse professionals for a shutdown contract project. This role involves supporting large-scale industrial shutdowns through efficient warehouse operations, heavy equipment handling, and precise order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse distribution skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types of heavy machinery. Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials using forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment
- Perform order picking and inventory management within the warehouse management system
- Support shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
- Operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts, cranes, and construction-related machinery
- Assist with construction-related tasks as needed during shutdown activities
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved and stored during the shutdown process
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies and equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Ensure the warehouse area remains organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields
- Mechanical knowledge and experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other industrial machinery
- Construction experience or familiarity with industrial shutdown procedures is a plus
- Valid certification for forklift operation or crane operation is advantageous
- Strong attention to safety protocols and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Prior experience in warehouse or industrial environments during large-scale shutdowns is desirable
Pay: $35.00 per hour
