Responsibilities
* Hand-stretch and prepare pizza dough according to company standards.
* Build pizzas following Liberty Pizzeria recipes and specifications.
* Safely operate and work with pizza ovens.
* Launch pizzas into the oven, monitor the baking process, and rotate pizzas as needed to ensure proper cooking.
* Remove, cut, finish, and present pizzas according to company standards.
* Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met at all times.
* Prepare, portion, and organize ingredients for service.
* Maintain proper inventory rotation and storage practices using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
* Manage and maintain your station independently during service.
* Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
* Assist with food preparation, inventory organization, and other kitchen duties as required.
* Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and accuracy.
* Collaborate closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth communication, ticket flow, and guest satisfaction.
* Support the entire team to ensure efficient daily operations and a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Previous pizza-making experience is required.
* Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen environment is required.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality standards.
* Experience hand-stretching dough and working during high-volume service periods is preferred.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
