EVERGREEN COLONY SCHOOL- Evergreen Colony School is located south of the town of Taber (from Taber, 19 km south on highway 36, 16 km east on township road 8-0, 2 km south on range road 152).
Regular Colony Educational Assistant – approx. 21 hours/week
Hours of work include Tuesday – Thursday 8:50 a.m. – 3:35 p.m. & Friday 8:50 a.m. – 11:55 a.m.
We are seeking an education assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. If the successful candidate is available, there can be orientation days in June of the current school year.

Ideally, candidates will:
- be prepared to always demonstrate respect for Hutterite culture, traditions and beliefs.
- have a positive attitude about children, learning and schools.
- have a critical role in instruction, under the supervision of the teacher.
- be able to work well independently, with the teacher, and with the school learning team.
- provide support to students on a 1:1 basis or with small group instruction.
- support English as an Additional Language Learners in language acquisition (early literacy and numeracy skills).
