We are currently seeking a Technical Support Analyst who can be nice, will seek inspiration from our roots, can commit to achieving results the right way and loves to think big to join us on our journey.
The Technical Support Analyst is a member of our Information Technology team, reporting directly to the Director, IT. This role will ensure that our employees are responsive, nimble, and efficient by providing them with the technical support that they need as we move towards new technologies and platforms.
The Technical Support Analyst for Roots will be responsible for and evaluated on the following:
Working with the IT Department to ensure all support calls are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.
Deliver an exceptional level of IT support to all levels of the business.
Configure software and systems for new users and provide first line technical support.
Assisting in creating IT documentation, instructions, procedures and processes.
Training users on company systems, software and network.
Perform Systems and PC’s updates/upgrades and maintenance of company hardware.
Escalate urgent issues to direct manager or an outsourced service provider as appropriate.
Top candidates for the Technical Support Analyst role will have the following:
Post-secondary degree in IT or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar IT Technical Support role.
Excellent knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP, Windows XP, Mac, OSX, Phone, Fax, Printer Mobile Devices, VPN and Microsoft office products.
Strong knowledge and experience in SCCM administration.
Strong knowledge and experience in administrating Active Directory (building and troubleshooting domains).
Hands on experience in disaster recovery process and procedure.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation.
Demonstrated poise, confidence and professionalism to interface with all levels of the business.
Excellent organizational, customer service and problem-solving skills.
