Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Cook food items efficiently and accurately, maintaining quality and consistency throughout service
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining environment
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple orders and ensuring timely delivery of meals
- Adhere to serving standards by accurately portioning and garnishing plates before they leave the kitchen
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices is a plus
- Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness standards demonstrates your readiness for this role
