Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our new upscale Salon that provides Hair, Nails, Facial, Waxing, Piercing.
Prime location on Lawrence and Bathurst. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, create a relaxing environment for clients, and promote overall wellness through expert treatments. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in a friendly, customer-focused setting while contributing to the beauty and confidence of our clients.
Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care
- Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure client safety and hygiene standards are met
- Offer personalized consultations to recommend nail treatments and products tailored to individual needs
- Upsell retail products such as nail care items, lotions, and other beauty accessories to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client inquiries professionally
- Keep detailed records of services provided and client preferences for future appointments
- Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and products in the nail industry through ongoing education
Skills
- Proven experience in nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Excellent sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Effective upselling skills to promote retail sales and enhance client experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills for explaining treatments and product recommendations clearly
- Retail sales experience is a plus for promoting additional products during appointments
