Duties
- Deliver expert hair styling services including cuts, color treatments, blowouts, and special occasion styles to meet client preferences.
- Provide personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles and hair care products.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
- Engage with clients through active communication, ensuring they feel valued and understood throughout their visit.
- Upsell retail hair care products and styling tools that complement client needs, enhancing their experience while increasing sales.
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments efficiently.
- Foster a positive atmosphere by building strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits and referrals.
Experience
- Proven experience as a hairstylist or in a similar beauty service role is preferred; strong foundational skills are essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their unique preferences.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a hygienic work environment.
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain styling options and product recommendations.
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining genuine client relationships.
- Familiarity with front desk operations including appointment booking, cash handling, and basic retail sales is advantageous.
