Reporting to the Front Office Manager
Must be available for 3 shifts a week including weekends & holidays based on business volumes.
Sample shift times are: 7:00am - 3:30pm
10:00am - 6:30pm
3:00pm - 11:30pm
Qualifications:
- Strong telephone skills with previous experience in a similar role an asset.
- Strong typing and clerical skills
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills and English communication skills.
- Bilingual an asset.
- Proven ability to handle many conflicting priorities at any given time.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- A passion for Guest service
- Knowledge of the Kanata and Ottawa area is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all Guest requests promptly and efficiently.
- Provide information on hotel services.
- Dispatch Guest requests to the following departments: Housekeeping, Guest Services, Maintenance, Room Service and Outlets.
- Maintain an excellent relationship with all departments dealt with on a daily basis.
- Answer all incoming phone calls in a timely manner. Dispatching requests as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all guest and partners requests.
- Perform wake-up call services.
- Handle and distribute guest mail.
- Perform emergency call procedures.
- Upholds the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times.
