As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Accountant with a Sales Background to join our dynamic team. This unique role combines financial expertise with the strategic insight gained from a sales-oriented mindset. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
- Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to ensure that sales data is accurately captured, reconciled, and reflected in financial reports.
- Billing & Invoicing: Oversee the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing for both product and service-based transactions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets and financial forecasts based on sales projections and historical performance.
- Sales Revenue Tracking: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing reports on trends, margins, and growth opportunities.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate tax reporting related to sales transactions and work with external auditors as necessary.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to streamline processes, improve revenue generation, and resolve discrepancies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Post graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounting, finance, or related fields (1+ year).
- Strong understanding of sales processes, sales data management, and sales-driven revenue models.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable taking on additional tasks in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sales-oriented role or sales support.
- Experience with financial modeling and sales forecasting.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and accounting standards related to sales transactions.
