Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Labourer to join our team and contribute to various building projects. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople with a range of construction tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in all aspects of the work. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, eager to learn, and possess a strong work ethic. Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers opportunities for skill development in areas such as telecimmunization and equipment operating.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support various task
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related trades is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with hand tools, schematics, blueprints, and construction techniques is advantageous
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role
