Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises
- Control access points by verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Enforce safety policies and procedures while managing conflicts or disputes professionally and calmly
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks in shift reports
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Certifications in first aid and CPR to effectively respond to medical emergencies
- Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and experience in conflict management techniques
- Strong understanding of security protocols, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response procedures
- Ability to remain alert for extended periods while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public
- Physical fitness to perform patrols, respond quickly in emergencies, and conduct inspections as needed
