PRIMED is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Industry Events Manager to join our Regional Business Unit in Edmonton, Alberta.
The Marketing and Industry Events Manager is responsible for handling strategic responsibilities across both digital marketing and trade show/event planning, while emphasizing focus on brand awareness and customer experience. This role includes executing and optimizing digital marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence among the region’s hospital decision-makers. The manager ensures all marketing collateral, and the website are aligned with the latest value propositions and offerings. Additionally, the role requires a deep understanding of the region’s healthcare competitive landscape, enabling strategic insights and adjustments to strengthen our market position.
Your day to day:
- Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with the company’s objectives, focusing on brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Design digital strategies based on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Develop a customer-centric content strategy plan for 2025, including themes, content focus areas, and a detailed release schedule.
- Plan, organize, and execute company events, including trade shows, conferences, and promotional events.
- Lead the planning and execution of trade shows, focusing on booth strategies, design, messaging, and attendee experience, while coordinating with shared services for logistics.
- Build and implement a tradeshow evaluation framework by the end of 2024 to guide future attendance decisions.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal teams to ensure smooth event logistics and execution.
- Develop content strategies for marketing campaigns, including social media, email, web, and print materials. Implement current ad campaign plans and tailor messaging to support selected tradeshows.
- Identify target audiences for marketing and event initiatives, tailoring messaging and strategies to engage specific segments effectively.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and events, using metrics to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies. Prepare and present reports on marketing activities, event outcomes, to senior management.
- Work closely with the marketing agency and internal communications teams to ensure the website and marketing collateral, including stock and ad hoc presentations, consistently aligns with the value proposition and product offerings.
- Develop long-term strategies to enhance customer experience, ensuring that all touchpoints, both digital and in-person (e.g., tradeshows), are aligned with the brand's goals and values.
- Identify potential risks related to marketing activities and events, developing contingency plans to mitigate issues.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during campaign execution or event planning.
