Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of construction practices and techniques. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements
- Perform restoration work on existing structures to maintain aesthetic appeal
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks
- Execute caulking and sealing to ensure durability of finishes
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising quality
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and carpentry skills is a plus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
