Certified Dental Assistant (Level II) – Kitchener-Waterloo Area
We are currently seeking a friendly, professional, and patient-focused Certified Dental Assistant (Level II) to join a busy and well-established dental practice in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.
Schedule: Monday to Friday | No evenings | Half-day Fridays | No weekends
Compensation: Starting at $32+/hour, commensurate with experience
Signing Bonus Available:
Successful hire will receive a $1,000 signing bonus.
Signing bonus is contingent on a minimum 24-month commitment. If the employment term is not fulfilled, the bonus is subject to repayment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care
- Take and process dental radiographs
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Educate patients on oral health and post-operative care instructions
- Ensure infection prevention and sterilization protocols are followed
- Support a positive patient experience and contribute to a welcoming office environment
- Collaborate closely with dentists, hygienists, and administrative team members
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant Level II
- Current NDAEB Certification (required)
- Current HARP Certification
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with dental software is considered an asset
