Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile full-time experienced carpenter to join our dynamic team. We would also consider hiring someone with some experience but wanting and willing to learn the trade. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute across a variety of construction and renovation projects, utilizing your skills in carpentry, masonry, and general construction. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to take on diverse responsibilities that help bring projects to life from start to finish. Whether working on framing, restoration, or finishing touches, you will play a vital role in ensuring quality craftsmanship and timely completion of all assignments.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work with precision and safety in mind
- Install cabinetry, flooring, tile, siding, roofing, and other building components to specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and heavy equipment efficiently and safely
- Conduct construction painting, caulking, plumbing, electrical work, and roofing tasks as needed
- Assist with construction estimating by measuring materials and assessing project requirements
- Engage in restoration projects by repairing or refurbishing existing structures with attention to detail
- Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and using appropriate equipment
- Follow schematics and technical instructions for assembly or installation tasks
- Support general handyman services including siding repair, drywall installation, or miscellaneous repairs
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or woodworking
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics
- Hands-on experience with construction tools—both hand tools and power tools—required for various tasks
- Prior work involving concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, or flooring installation preferred
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material measurement techniques beneficial
- Experience with restoration projects or manufacturing environments is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and equipment use
