Position Overview:
All members of our culinary team are expected to have a strong willingness to learn, patience, and—most importantly—a love for good food. Our cooks work in a fast-paced kitchen and are responsible for preparing and executing menu items while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
Line cook responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Execute menu items to order during service according to Aloette Go standards
- Prepare raw ingredients for service (vegetables, proteins, sauces)
- Produce batches of sauces, prepared vegetables, and meats as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation at all times
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Support teammates during busy service periods
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries when needed
Requirements/Desired Traits:
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience is an asset
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Organized, reliable, and accountable
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
