Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Printer Operator to run our HP R2000 printer, specializing in direct to substrate printing and illuminated signage applications.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain R2000 printer for high-quality output
- Print directly onto various substrates (acrylic, metal, plastics, etc.)
- Handle jobs involving illuminated/LED signage and backlit graphics
- Prepare files, set up print jobs, and ensure color accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues
- Work closely with production team to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Experience with HP R2000 or similar flatbed printers
- Knowledge of direct-to-substrate printing processes
- Familiarity with illuminated signage and materials
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience in sign manufacturing or large format printing
- Basic knowledge of RIP software and color management
