We are seeking a driven, relationship-oriented, and highly motivated Account Executive / Full Cycle Sales Representative to help accelerate growth across food manufacturing accounts. This is a true full-cycle sales role where you will prospect, develop opportunities, manage customer relationships, and close new business while growing existing accounts.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, enjoys building long-term partnerships, and is comfortable discussing both commercial and technical aspects of ingredient solutions.
What You Will Do
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through closing and account growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within food and beverage manufacturing companies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with purchasing, R&D, operations, and executive-level customer contacts
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts by identifying new product opportunities and increasing share of wallet
- Collaborate with internal teams including purchasing, operations, logistics, and quality to ensure customer success
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity, forecasting, and account plans
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to support customer projects and innovation initiatives
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing changes, and emerging ingredient opportunities
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably within food ingredients, food manufacturing, industrial ingredients, or related industries
- Proven success managing customer relationships and driving revenue growth
- Experience with prospecting, pipeline management, and closing new business opportunities
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM systems for pipeline and account management
- Postsecondary education in Business, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field is considered an asset
- Experience selling into food manufacturing environments is highly preferred
Industry & Technical Skills
- Ability to understand technical ingredient functionality and communicate customer value propositions
- Familiarity with food manufacturing environments and ingredient applications
- Knowledge of regulatory and quality frameworks such as CFIA, allergen management, labeling requirements, HACCP, or BRC is considered an asset
- Understanding of bakery, dairy, beverage, confectionery, snack, or processed food categories is beneficial

Compensation & Benefits
- $60k – 75k base salary + uncapped commission structure
