Barso Homes is a growing real estate development and construction company specializing in custom homes, multifamily developments, and concrete construction. Our Barso Concrete Division is expanding, and we are looking for a skilled and reliable Experienced Carpenter to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in concrete formwork, framing, and residential and multi family development construction, who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to grow with a fast-developing company.
Responsibilities
- Construct and install concrete formwork for foundations, grade beams, and structural components.
- Assist with ICF installation, basement walls, and slab preparation.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood or other materials accurately.
- Ensure high standards of craftsmanship and safety on site.
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors, trades, project manager and director.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site
Requirements
- 5+ years of carpentry experience
- Experience with concrete formwork and foundations
- Knowledge or ability to read construction drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting materials and working on construction sites
Assets (Preferred but not required)
- Experience with ICF foundations
- Experience in infill home and commercial construction
- Fall protection or safety certifications
Compensation
- $28 – $35 per hour depending on experience
