Cottage Contracting is looking for a full-time Lawn Crew Leader to join our team.
Position Summary:
The Lawn Crew Leader is responsible for leading a team in the maintenance and enhancement of residential and commercial lawn care properties. This position involves both hands-on work and leadership responsibilities to ensure high standards of service are delivered. The ideal candidate has some experience in lawn care and using a trailer, can manage a team effectively, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead a crew in performing weekly mowing, trimming, and clean-up of client properties
- Train and supervise crew members on proper equipment use and job site safety
- Maintain consistent communication with management regarding progress, issues, and materials
- Monitor quality control and ensure all lawns meet company standards
- Operate and maintain lawn care equipment including mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report repair needs
- Ensure job sites are left clean and orderly after each visit
- Work with customers and team members to solve problems and provide outstanding service
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor
Qualifications:
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of lawn maintenance techniques and equipment
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record ( G2 or G is a must)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Punctual, reliable, and professional demeanor
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
