We are seeking a talented Cake Decorator to join our team at Velvet Desserts and Creamery in Wallaceburg. Previous experience of working at a bakery shop or an ice-cream place would be preferrable. Based at our convenient location, you will play a key role in creating beautiful and delicious cakes that delight our customers and enhance their experience with us.
Responsibilities
- Decorate cakes with artistic designs and attention to detail.
- Prepare bakery items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Ensure food safety and proper handling at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and understanding their needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Pack baked goods for display or sale.
- Support team members in daily bakery operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cake decorating or pastry arts.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.
