Overview
Language Advantage is seeking a Japanese language instructor with proven experience teaching adults in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality instruction to adult learners in an online environment
- Develop customized language program for learners based on their language assessment results
- Prepare comprehensive weekly lesson plans, monthly development plans and teaching materials tailored to the specific language and industry needs of the learners
- Provide ongoing feedback to the learner and adjust the lessons and methods to meet the learner’s needs
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports at the end of the program reflecting learners’ progress made against the objectives defined at the beginning of the program
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/Certificate in education/languages or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience instructing adults in language classes.
- Experience in business or professional setting is an asset.
