Job Summary
We are a medium sized company with about 40 desktops and 6 servers looking for an IT Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a self starter who can prioritize and address issues as they arise while planning for the future. We are a Google Workspace environment with primarily Google Pixel phones and Windows PCs & servers. We are looking for a well rounded person who can deal with all aspects of a medium sized office.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support the users in their day to day work.
- Upgrade and deploy new equipment as needed.
- Maintain servers, cameras and networking equipment.
- Monitor Security and patches.
- Administer user accounts, permissions and security.
- Configure and manage firewalls, and other network infrastructure components.
- Work with support for our cloud services to troubleshoot and address issues.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics; troubleshoot hardware/software issues proactively.
Experience
- Maintaining, deploying, patching and supporting Windows based PCs
- Maintaining, deploying, patching and supporting Windows based Servers
- Ability to work with SQL servers.
- Familiarity with networking concepts including firewall configuration, DNS, etc.
- Experience with camera security systems an asset.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues quickly. This position requires a proactive approach to system management combined with excellent problem-solving skills to support our organization’s technological needs efficiently.
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
