Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker/Confectioner to join our dynamic culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for creating the world-famous sweets and treats that delight our customers and elevate any store offerings. Your expertise in reading a recipe, ordering supplies, mixing ingredients, operating a stand-mixer and organizing production will help craft beautiful, high-quality treats that stand out. Responsibilities
- Prepare confectionery product, cut and pack product, assemble confections, pack other wholesale goods with precision and care.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to strict food safety standards and hygiene protocols
- Assist in food packaging and presentation to maintain product freshness and visual appeal
- Lead kitchen operations by following a production schedule, cooking, and cleaning tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the production area, including equipment sanitation and proper storage of ingredients
Qualifications
- Proven experience in baking or food production, preferably within food industry setting
- Strong skills measuring, cooking, mixing and general confection techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with food packaging and presentation is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and the strenght to lift 20kg.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
