Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid background in food service and hospitality. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring smooth service flow, maintaining food safety standards, and creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. Previous experience in restaurant management, food handling, and team supervision is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Oversee food preparation and serving processes to maintain standards of quality and presentation
- Manage POS systems for order processing and cash handling with accuracy
- Assist with interviewing and onboarding new team members to build a competent and motivated staff
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Monitor restaurant operations to optimize efficiency, guest satisfaction, and adherence to health protocols
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming environment
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and smooth workflow
- Lead by example in hospitality standards, teamwork, and professionalism
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within the food industry or restaurant management roles
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience with POS systems such as Techniq POS
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations effectively
- Leadership qualities with a background in team management and training
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including cash handling, food handling, and hospitality practices
- Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills and a professional demeanor

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
