Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure displays are attractive and organized
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering tailored recommendations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
- Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Support inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and product organization
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance
Skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Experience in retail sales, technology sales, or merchandising is preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about features and benefits
- Organizational skills to manage merchandise displays and stock levels efficiently
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Upselling techniques to enhance sales performance
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with electronics/products is a plus
