JNG ELECTRIC INC. is an established electrical contractor serving southern Ontario, and is currently hiring for two positions. We are currently seeking experienced, motivated 309A Journeyperson Electricians who take pride in their workmanship, work safely, and can perform independently while contributing to a productive team environment.
This job positing is for positions primarily at a large residential project site in St. Catharines, but potentially other sites in the western GTHA + Niagara. Work outside this area is also a possibility based on project demands.

Responsibilities
- Independently install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems on residential, commercial, and multi-unit construction projects.
- Complete electrical rough-in, finishing, device installation, service installations, equipment connections, and commissioning in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and site instructions to complete assigned work efficiently and accurately.
- Plan and organize daily work activities to meet project schedules and productivity targets.
- Install conduit, cable tray, wiring systems, panels, distribution equipment, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, and associated electrical components.
- Perform testing, verification, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure proper operation and code compliance.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship while identifying and resolving installation issues in a proactive manner.
- Coordinate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, other trades, and apprentices to ensure efficient project execution.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to apprentices and less experienced workers as required.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, lifts, and other jobsite equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies, site-specific requirements, and provincial regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Complete required documentation, deficiency lists, and project reporting as required.
- Perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, and installing materials and equipment.

Salary: Hourly wage of $42.00 to $47.00 per hour.
