Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pizza Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering orders promptly and safely while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver’s license, good communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed. Duties
- Safely deliver pizza orders to customers within designated areas using company vehicles
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining food quality and presentation
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries
- Handle cash or card payments accurately when necessary
- Assist with moving supplies or equipment around the restaurant or warehouse as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles and report any vehicle issues promptly
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery status or issues
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks, including handling large or heavy items such as pizza boxes or supplies
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, commercial driving, or forklift operation is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Customer service experience preferred to ensure positive interactions during deliveries
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina for extended periods of driving and standing during shifts
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality for scheduled shifts
Pay: Up to $17.60 per hour
