Are you a master mixologist with a passion for crafting exquisite cocktails and curating an exceptional wine experience? The Hole in the Wall Lounge is seeking an experienced bartender to elevate our upscale establishment to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and delicious cocktails using premium ingredients.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of wine varieties and pairings.
- Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food pairings.
- Provide excellent customer service by being attentive, friendly, and responsive to guest needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Smart Serve Certification
- Experience in bartending or working in the food industry is preferred.
- Proficient in operating POS systems for order management.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe drinking environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in high-end cocktail or wine establishments. - Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine selections, and bar operations.
