Job Summary
We are seeking an dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team at Eloise. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent food service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all items are organized properly.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients if needed.
- Support kitchen staff by helping with basic food service tasks during peak hours.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure that recycling procedures are followed.
- Follow all food handling guidelines to maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
