The Ottawa Valley Automotive Group is growing.
We operate multiple automotive businesses across the Ottawa Valley and continue to expand. We're looking for an energetic, forward thinking, driven Used Car Sales Manager to help lead and grow our used vehicle operation at one of our locations.
This is not a role built around sitting behind a desk.
We're looking for someone who sees used cars as a business within the business. Someone who understands that inventory is money in motion and that success comes from process, teamwork, urgency, creativity, and execution.
This role touches everything.
Sourcing vehicles. Managing inventory strategy. Driving turn rates. Creating systems. Working with service and parts teams. Tracking leads. Building culture. Developing processes.
If terms like velocity pricing, inventory aging, gross per day, lead conversion, turn rate, and speed to market interest you, you may be exactly who we're looking for.

Responsibilities:
- Source and acquire used vehicle inventory through trades, auctions, wholesalers, private purchases, and creative sourcing opportunities
- Build and manage a high volume inventory strategy focused on movement and inventory turn
- Develop and execute a velocity style pricing approach that keeps inventory fresh and moving
- Monitor market conditions and adjust pricing intelligently and proactively
- Track inventory aging and take ownership of inventory performance
- Work closely with Parts and Service teams to build a culture of teamwork and shared success around the recon process
- Help create a collaborative environment where departments work together toward common goals rather than operating in silos
- Improve recon cycle times while balancing quality, communication, and team relationships
- Think outside the box to reduce recon costs and improve efficiencies through creative sourcing and process improvements
- Identify opportunities with suppliers, vendors, and alternative sourcing channels where appropriate
- Build systems around lead generation, lead tracking, follow up, and accountability
- Ensure opportunities are followed consistently and no customer falls through the cracks
- Help improve customer engagement and lead conversion strategies
- Use KPIs, dashboards, data, and analytics to guide decisions
- Support sales teams and leadership in creating a high performing used vehicle operation
Who we're looking for:

- Automotive experience is preferred but not mandatory
