We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Registered Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring safe and effective medication management, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting clinical operations within our facility.
Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to all legal and safety regulations
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients, ensuring they understand their treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and review patient medication regimens
- Monitor patient responses to medications and report any adverse reactions or concerns
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate pharmacy records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Oversee medication storage, inventory management, and proper disposal procedures
- Assist in medication administration processes within hospital or clinical settings when necessary
- Stay updated on new pharmaceutical developments, guidelines, and best practices in patient care
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of practice
- Prior experience in hospital or acute care settings is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of medication administration procedures
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments
