Crossroads Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Project Coordinator to join a dynamic and mobile team operating across the Orillia, Barrie, and Midland area. This role is ideal for an organized, proactive professional who excels at managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment. Training will be conducted at our client's Orillia office.
Job Opportunity: Project Coordinator
Location: Orillia, Barrie, or Midland, Ontario (Travel Required)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $50,000 – $56,000 annually (based on experience)
Additional Perks: Bi-weekly pay | Overtime after 44 hours | Mileage reimbursement
Coordinate staff, trades, and schedules in support of insurance restoration projects, ensuring efficient workflows and compliance with all program standards.
Initiate customer contact and maintain communication throughout the project
Coordinate internal teams and external sub-trades from emergency response through to project completion
Maintain accurate records including job notes, scheduling, and compliance documentation using platforms like Xactanalysis and Encircle
Upload inventory and photos, track equipment, and input labour details for accurate job costing
Schedule vendor appointments and keep clients informed, especially in case of delays
Conduct monthly safety inspections and participate in workplace health and safety initiatives
High School Diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between sites
Promote and uphold health & safety protocols in line with Ontario's Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA)
Participate in safety training, workplace inspections, and incident reporting
Maintain current certifications: First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, and vaccinations (Hep A & B, Tetanus)
Provide timely responses and updates
Support and reassure clients throughout the restoration process
Deliver professional service with empathy during times of emergency
