Our 60+ Endocrinologists, many of whom are nationally renowned for their areas of expertise, are supported by an interdisciplinary team of highly qualified Medical Office Administrators, Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Registered Dietitians, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, Optometrists, Opticians, Optical Assistants, Chiropodists, Podiatrists, Health Coaches and Clinical Research Professionals.
Currently, our growing team is looking for a Regional Clinic Manager who can work for us on a permanent full-time basis supporting our GTA-East clinics (LMC Barrie, LMC Bayview, & LMC Scarborough). Support to other LMC clinics in the GTA will be required on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Manages administrative teams across clinics
Responsible for ongoing training and development and regular performance evaluation of clinic operations staff; including their roles and responsibilities, success measures, personal goals and the company’s values/strategy
Ensures that all sites are staffed appropriately, while adhering to clinic budget
Responsible for managing day to day site-level facility and operations to ensure they are fully operational, including potential IT troubleshooting
Recruiting, hiring, orientation, and training of clinical and administrative staff
Acts as the primary interface with clinic staff and medical providers across all programs for all operational and administrative issues
Addresses patient and provider concerns and issues
Manages provider schedules to ensure productivity and efficiency.
Responsible for project management and other duties
Responsible for coverage of administrative roles and additional sites, as required
Assists in the integration processes of new clinics and new providers
Requirements preferred, but not limited to:
Post-secondary education in a Certified Medical Office Administration Program or 2-4 years of Medical Office Experience and/or Medical Office Assistant Diploma, or Bachelors Degree in a health field is an asset
2-3+ years in clinic operations healthcare environment; leading and coaching a team with at least 5 direct reports (multi-site practice is an asset)
Experience in the usage of EMR’s, medical billings, Public Health standards, and the ESA.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and advanced communication skills.
Strong people, process and workflow management skills to ensure reliability and consistency that delivers expected results.
Proficient in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Ability to manage and sustain process improvement initiatives.
Proficiency with Microsoft computer systems, EMR and software applications (knowledge of Accuro considered an asset).
Required to have a valid driver’s license with access to a reliable personal vehicle.
Must be able to travel to all LMC sites.
