Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to a Senior in a home setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and fostering a nurturing environment. Duties
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to Senior.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor health and well-being, recognizing signs of distress or health issues
- Administer medication as prescribed and coordinate with healthcare providers when necessary
- Engage clients in recreational activities to promote mental and physical well-being
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities and any concerns
Experience
- Prior experience working with seniors with dementia is highly desirable
- Demonstrated caregiving skills with a compassionate approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience are essential for building trusting relationshipsThis position requires a caring attitude, patience, and the ability to work independently in a home environment. Candidates should be committed to providing high-quality care that promotes independence and enhances quality of life for those they serve.
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
