Ideal Appliance Repair is seeking motivated, professional Appliance Repair Technicians to join our growing team.
This is an independent contractor role designed for experienced technicians who are confident in their skills and motivated by a performance-based compensation structure. Earnings are directly tied to performance, service quality, and efficiency—allowing strong technicians to significantly exceed typical industry income levels.
We provide qualified service calls, consistent job flow, scheduling support, and an established brand presence, allowing technicians to focus on what they do best: delivering high-quality repairs and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Repair household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, ect
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems safely and accurately
- Communicate repair options clearly and professionally to customers
- Maintain accurate job records (repairs completed, parts used, notes, etc.)
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work practices
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year appliance repair experience (preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Smartphone for job management and communication
- No criminal record
Preferred Experience
- Experience with major brands (Whirlpool, LG, Samsung, GE, Frigidaire, Bosch, KitchenAid)
- Background in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC-related repair
- Strong ability to explain technical issues in simple terms to customers
- Experience working in a commission or performance-based environment
Compensation
- Performance-based commission structure
- Earnings vary based on completed work, efficiency, and customer approvals

Contractor Requirements
Selected candidates will be required to:
- Carry valid business liability insurance
- Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement
