We're Son of a Builder, a residential construction company in Colchester County. We handle renovations, additions, and new builds across the area, and we're looking for an experienced carpenter to take on project work with our crew.
This is hands-on project work — you'll be on job sites doing the full range of residential carpentry from framing through finish. If you do clean, accurate work, show up reliably, and want steady year-round hours on well-run sites, we want to hear from you.
The work:
- Framing, rough-in, and structural work on renovations, additions, and new builds
- Finish carpentry: doors, windows, trim, and fixtures
- Reading plans and specs, then measuring, cutting, and building to them
- Renovation and repair work on existing structures
- Working alongside the lead contractor to keep projects moving and on schedule
- Keeping job sites clean, safe, and organized
What you need:
- 4+ years of carpentry experience across framing and finish work
- Valid driver's license, and reliable transportation
- Comfortable reading blueprints and working to building code
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Dependable and able to work solo or with the crew
