VantageJobs is currently supporting one of our clients in hiring 10 Full-Time Professional Drivers in Edmonton.
We are seeking reliable, safety-conscious, and professional drivers who have a strong knowledge of Edmonton routes, neighbourhoods, major roads, and landmarks. Successful candidates must hold a valid Alberta Class 4 Driver’s Licence and be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers according to assigned schedules and routes.
- Navigate efficiently throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and service-oriented approach while interacting with passengers.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws, safety requirements, and company procedures.
- Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Communicate effectively regarding schedules, delays, route changes, or operational requirements.
- Complete required driving or trip documentation accurately.
- Perform other driving-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Class 4 Driver’s Licence in Alberta.
- Strong working knowledge of Edmonton routes, neighbourhoods, major roads, and landmarks.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow assigned schedules.
- Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays when operationally required.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday (weekends as needed)
- Overtime compensation provided in accordance with company policy and applicable employment standards.
Compensation
- Starting from $22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Full-time employment.
Employment Commitment
This position is intended for candidates seeking a long-term employment opportunity, with an expected commitment of 12–24 months, subject to the terms of the employment agreement and applicable Alberta employment standards.
