Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Concession Cashier to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized concession stand. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, cashiering, and food handling, with a strong focus on sanitation and safety. Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process sales quickly and accurately
- Handle cash transactions, make change, and manage credit card payments with precision
- Prepare simple food items as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Upsell additional items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the concession area in compliance with food safety standards
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions and assisting guests promptly
- Manage inventory levels and restock supplies as necessary during shifts
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to health regulations and safety protocols
- Practice effective time management to serve customers efficiently during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Experience in cashiering, cash handling, and customer service is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and food safety practices is beneficial
- Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash register operations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience in upselling or suggestive selling techniques is advantageous
