Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales, Excellent communication skills. This role involves engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their farms. The Salesperson will play a key role in driving sales growth, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting marketing initiatives within our organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a territory in Ontario and surrounding regions
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities (farms, integrators, distributors)
- Conduct in-person client visits and product demonstrations
- Build long-term relationships with producers and industry partners
- Provide technical product support and solution-based selling
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain CRM records, quotes, and follow-ups
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and farm visits
- Maintain a clean sales vehicle
- Manage all leads and communication through company provided sales computer and phone
Experience
- Prior Sales or Farm experience is highly desirable, especially within the agricultural community
- background in retail sales, customer service and marketing strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong organizational skills
- Experience using Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting is preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a clean G Rated or higher Drivers License
Pay: From $72,000.00 per year
