Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient operations. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various roadside situations professionally. The Tow Truck Driver plays a vital role in assisting customers and maintaining the safety and functionality of our fleet.
Duties
- Safely operate tow trucks to recover and transport vehicles from accident scenes, breakdowns, or parking violations
- Assist customers with roadside assistance services in a courteous and professional manner
- Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks and equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning
- Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including time, location, and vehicle details
- Coordinate with dispatchers to prioritize jobs and ensure timely service delivery
- Perform minor vehicle repairs or mechanical troubleshooting as needed, utilizing automotive repair knowledge
- Operate forklifts or other equipment when necessary for loading or unloading vehicles or parts
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations
Qualifications
- Valid G drivers License & Provincial Tow License
- Mechanical knowledge and basic automotive repair skills
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Prior experience in commercial driving or roadside assistance preferred
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to towing and vehicle recovery processes

Pay: $40,355.70-$98,039.97 per year
