Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and efficient delivery operations. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are preferred to support various aspects of the transportation process.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes and delivery points
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and general upkeep of trucks and equipment
Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in freight transportation or commercial driving preferred
- Skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, or automotive repair are advantageous
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and compliance

Pay: $6,000.00-$8,000.00 per month
