BMO Equity Research covers approximately 950 stocks across diverse sectors, and provides fundamental research, equity strategy, quantitative analysis and portfolio management services to our institutional clients. We are currently seeking a Digital & Print Publishing Specialist to be based in our downtown Toronto office.
The successful candidate will work closely with a team of publishing and communication specialists, Supervisory Analysts, Research Analyst / Associate teams, as well as Research Management. The work environment involves collaboration, co-ordination and a shared knowledge base.
The successful candidate will provide creative publishing and technical support in the design and production of high quality research, sales and promotional content solutions (such as podcasts, videos, reports, templates, presentations and graphics for digital and print). S/he will participate in the end-to-end processes of publishing content using various media including electronic report formats/templates, printed reports, video, audio, and digital content. The candidate will work with internal and external stakeholders to produce high-quality end products in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Broader work or accountabilities will be assigned as needed.

Technical skills required:
Audio recording and editing (intermediate), video editing (beginner)
Microsoft Word (intermediate), Excel and Powerpoint (beginner)
Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat (beginner)
Nice to have:
Experience and knowledge of web design technologies, basic HTML
Knowledge of the printing industry, graphics industry and financial services industry
Hours / Location:
10am – 7pm, with flexibility to work irregular or extended hours
WFH for the start of the term, with a hybrid working model going forward
Post-secondary degree in Multi-Media Publishing, Graphic Design and/or relevant working experience. While experience in a corporate environment is not essential, corporate work experience would be a tremendous asset.
