Home Care Worker Night Cook 11pm till 7 am
Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide high-quality in-home support to clients in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about caregiving and committed to improving the quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. The position involves working closely with clients to promote independence, safety, and comfort within their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor health status
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Support patients with mobility challenges through safe lifting and transfer techniques
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation
- Assist with errands, shopping, and transportation as needed
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care and senior care best practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach
- Ability to administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions
- Excellent communication skills and patience when working with diverse populations
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation duties
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing respectful, personalized care
